With gourds of all shapes, sizes and colors displayed on the east side of NorthPark’s CenterPark Garden for the 2025 Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 5, the rest of the Garden had been transformed for a second year into a festive celebration for Community Partners Of Dallas‘ 2025 Change Is Good. Even before the event officially got underway, kids with jars full of change and their parents like Sharon Lee Clark and Max Clark with sons Max Clark Jr. and Conrad ClarkEsé Azénabor-Grembowski and Eric Grembowski with their daughter Elah Grembowski were ready to party and find out the results of the weeks of change-gathering for CPD.

In addition to a variety of NorthPark restaurants providing all types of refreshments and talented artists ready to dazzle the youngsters, picnic tables were set up on the grounds with umbrellas providing shade from the afternoon sun.

For Molly Marak, it was a triple-header of an occasion. Not only did she score in two categories of the change-raising competition, but her artistic talents also earned accolades. Here’s a report from the field:

Change is Good 2025 chair family Katy and Parker Brooks with children Paxton Brooks and Sophia Brooks welcomed more than 500 changemakers on Sunday, October 5, for the 19th annual Change is Good.
