What’s Happening at the Galleria

After the American Girl Doll Store announced it was moving from Galleria Dallas to the Shops at Park Lane last summer, there were murmurings about the future of the north Dallas mall. But, the shopping center was prepared with a slew of openings and renovations to replace the store.

The mall launched outposts of BR Home, Banana Republic’s new home furnishings line, and Spanish retail giant Mango. It’s also planning to open the first H&M Home in North Texas, in a 7,500-square-foot store on Level 2.

Mid-November, luxe French fashion house Louis Vuitton reopened its Galleria Dallas location. The redesigned storefront is double in size, and features displays of the brand’s various product lines. The store also has a leather goods hot stamping service and an on-site artisan to work with clients on custom artwork.

Also last month, longtime local jewelry store Bachendorf’s reopened its Galleria Dallas location after an extensive renovation. The newly expanded 7,000-square-foot space features a bridal atelier and displays of David Yurman, Roberto Coin, Cartier, Breitling, and other brands. The store also includes a 1,500-square-foot in-store Rolex boutique.
