For Lauren Taylor, owner of Studio Santé in Snider Plaza, it was on the dance floor where she first fell for her beloved, Nathan Langhenry. “We met at a masquerade ball here in Dallas. Nathan is such an incredible dancer and knows how to have fun wherever he is,” she shares. The two also found themselves on the same debutante circuit, which played a meaningful role in their journey together.
When Nathan ultimately decided to ask Lauren to share forever, he enlisted the help of Dallas-based jeweler Bachendorf’s. “I wanted a design of my own, as I don’t get to be very creative as an accountant day to day,” notes Nathan. Drawing inspiration from the couple’s European travels—where Lauren first discovered a marquise-shaped ring in a vintage jewelry shop—Nathan devised the perfect plan. “It has always been one of my favorite pieces I’ve bought for her, so I knew it had to be a marquise. I also loved the look of two smaller stones to reference the Holy Trinity.” Nathan says his bride’s faith and passion were qualities that immediately drew him to her.
“Fallon Bock has been a good friend of mine through the debutante scene and from chairing the Echelon Gala together,” Lauren says of working with her and the Bachendorf’s team to create the perfect ring. “I loved seeing the design evolve through each stage—from describing it to Fallon to receiving the render and finally seeing the finished product. It was surreal.”
