Luxury jewelry retailer Bachendorf’s will open a new store in Dallas.
The retailer will occupy a 2,200-square-foot space at the base of the Knox Hotel & Residences, a 28-story tower set to feature 140 hotel rooms and 48 private condos at Knox Street. Auberge Collection, a global portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts and residences, will manage the property.
Bachendorf’s will sit to the left of the residence valet at 4555 Travis St. in suite H7. The new store and event space will open in the winter.
Bachendorf’s opened its first store in 1977, but the jeweler traces back to a 1948 repair shop in downtown Dallas. Bachendorf’s sells diamond rings, earrings, necklaces and pendants, bangles and bracelets. The retailer is also a global partner for Rolex, Cartier and Tudor, allowed to sell and maintain watches.
The new Bachendorf’s will be the fifth location for the 50-year-old Dallas-Fort Worth retailer. It follows outposts at Galleria Dallas, The Plaza at Preston Center, The Shops at Clearfork and the Rolex Boutique in Highland Park Village.
"For nearly fifty years, our family has focused on building relationships with our clients and bringing them exceptional pieces that stand the test of time," Lawrence Bock, president of Bachendorf’s, said in a statement. "This new Knox Street concept allows us to honor that legacy while offering unique collections in a more dynamic environment, one where guests can experience rare designs, meet remarkable brands, and return often to discover what’s new.
